Harvest Caye Shore Excursions
At the center of Harvest Caye you'll find an enormous multi-lobed pool with swim-up bar and a cascading waterfall. Next to the pool there's the popular LandShark Bar & Grill.
The large beautiful white sand beach has enough space for everyone. There are lots of (free) sun-loungers and umbrellas, and swaying palm trees offer shade if needed.
Salt Water Lagoon
The Salt Water Lagoon acts as a watersports center. You can hire kayaks, paddle-boats and stand-up paddle boards. As you paddle around the lagoon, enjoy the mangrove swamps on the edges, and keep your eyes peeled for manatees, which frequent the area.
In all there's 1300 feet of Zip Line to enjoy, in two main segments. The lines start at the top of the imposing lighthouse, one runs across the beach, the superman ride, and one runs towards the lagoon, the lagoon run ride.
On board ship you can buy round-trip ferry tickets from Harvest Caye to the small town of Placencia. The ride takes about 15 minutes each way, and you are dropped off at a small pier by the town's beach. After relaxing at the beach, head into town - here you'll find cafes, bars and art galleries. The more adventurous may also want to embark on a snorkeling excursion from the town - the nearby coral reef is one of the longest in the world.
