Edinburgh offers four options for cruise ships visiting the city, two anchorages for larger vessels, and two ports for smaller. The two anchorages are off Newhaven, from which passengers are tendered into Newhaven Harbour (3 miles from the city centre), and off South Queensferry, from which passengers are tendered into Hawes Pier (9 miles from the city centre). The two ports are the Port of Leith (3 miles from the city centre), and the Port of Rosyth (15 miles from the city centre).
