Galveston Island, situated about 20 miles south east of Houston city centre, has become the favorite departure port from the Texas coastline. Cruise ships depart to exotic destination in the Caribbean and Mexico.

The Port of Galveston now boasts two modern cruise ship terminals, named the Texas Cruise Ship Terminal, which serve ships from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruiselines, and Carnival.

Cruise choices from the port include short 4-6 or longer 10-12 day itineraries, visiting the turquoise waters of the Caribbean islands and Mexican shores.
