Port of Departure Willemstad, Curacao

The town of Willemstad on the Caribbean Island of Curacao (part of the Netherland Antilles) is a designated UNESCO Heritage Site and is arguably the most picturesque colonial city in the Caribbean with its distinctive "wedding cake" colonial architecture. The bright, candy-colored buildings date from the 16th to the 19th Century, and the town is very reminiscent to Amsterdam. The walk from the cruise terminal to town takes you across a unique floating Pontoon bridge.
